The Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber Community Scholarship Opportunities!

The Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber is proud to offer two $1500 scholarships to candidates that show exemplary service to their community. The Chamber is offering this scholarship to help foster the development of leaders for our community who can address the issues of the next generation and have a lifelong dedication to prosperity and philanthropy in business and community endeavors.

 

On May 24, 2007, the Chamber awarded $1,500 scholarships to two deserving high school seniors. Students were eligible based on Algonquin or Lake in the Hills residency and/or a family member of the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce. Evaluation of the students was through a blind process which evaluated their school and civic activities and their commitment to community leadership.

Wiktoria Pecak - Lake in the Hills residents

 

2008 Scholarship Applications NOW Available.  Applications must be submitted not later than March 31, 2008!  Scholarships will be awarded in May.
