The Chamber’s Small Business Center (SBC) is a coordinated effort with its corporate sponsors offering a variety of resources to its members and local businesses in an effort to assist businesses in all aspects of operating a successful business. Seminars Through the Center's corporate sponsors, and industry specific topics, small hands-on seminars will be held to educate businesses on issues important to their business.
Recently, the Chamber's Center hosted a Windows 7 seminar. Chamber member, Matt Navigato owner of Navnet provided an informative, hands-on demonstration of the many new features and enhanced business functions. Following the program, due to Matt's Microsoft Certification, distritbuted $150 vouchers for businesses interested in the purchase of the Windows 7 Professional software.

Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Representative
Through a coordinated effort with the Elgin Community College (ECC) and McHenry County College (MCC), a representative from the SBDC will be available monthly, on the second Tuesday, to meet privately with small business owners and managers to discuss their specific questions. Call the Chamber at 847-658-5300 to schedule your appointment.
