WELCOME TO THE CHAMBER

Over the last few years, we have truly been a Chamber of change. In 2008, the Chamber Board of Directors determined it was time to find a new home for the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce. For nearly 58 years, the Chamber office had been located on Main Street in Algonquin. Following the tremendous growth of our two communities, it was determined the Chamber needed to be centrally located to better represent all of our business members.

In 2009, we opened our new office at 2114 W. Algonquin Road in Lake in the Hills. I would like to extend an open invitation to the businesses and the residents to stop by and pick up a wealth of informaiton on all of the great businesses your comunity has to offer and thank you for choosing Chamber members for all of your home, business and entertainment needs

The Progress of Growth - We've Come Along Way . . .
The Chamber has been a part of the community. since 1952.
1952 - The Algonquin Business Association (ABA).
1981 - The ABA incorporated as the Algonquin Chamber of Commerce.
1989 - Lake in the HIlls Chamber of Commerce began.
1991 - The Algonquin and the Lake in the HIlls Chamber became one
and incorporated as the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce.
2009 - The Chamber office relocated to 2114 W. Algonquin Rd in Lake in the Hills.
2010 - Chamber introduced a new logo
